Production Shift Manager

We are delighted to be recruiting for a PM Shift Supervisor for a Food Manufacturing company.

Our client is a fast-paced and innovative food manufacturing company with a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement. As they continue to grow, they are looking for a passionate and experienced Shift Supervisor to lead and develop our production teams and help drive performance and efficiency on shift.

Only candidates with food manufacturing supervisory or management experience will be considered. Applications without this background will not be reviewed.

Purpose of the Role:

• Ensure production processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements
• Promote a positive and collaborative team culture, role-modelling company values
• Be a key driver of change, identifying and leading improvements across operations
• Communicate effectively at all levels in a professional and approachable manner
• Take ownership of projects aimed at improving factory performance
• Deliver training on production, packing, and cleaning tasks
• Provide performance feedback during 1-2-1s and formal reviews
• Support, motivate, and mentor team leaders and operatives
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions
• Work alongside the Technical team to support NPD (e.g. trial runs)
• Attend daily handover meetings with fellow managers
• Oversee and maintain high standards of hygiene and ensure the cleaning schedule is followed

• Proven Supervisor experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Experience leading, managing, and developing production teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
