Electric Pallet Stacker/Warehouse Operative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the smooth operation of our warehouse. This role involves lifting, materials handling, and ensuring that all goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.

12 hrs shifts 4 on 4 off

4 days on 4 days off then 4 nights on 4 nights off,

Continental shift pattern.

Duties

• Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including verifying the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with equipment repair as needed, utilising mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies in stock levels.
• Use basic maths skills for counting stock and completing necessary documentation.
• Operate forklifts safely to move large items around the warehouse.

Skills

• A5 licence this is for use on the electric pedestrian stacker truck.
