MK Personnel Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client in Loughton, Milton Keynes for Machine Operators to join their busy manufacturing team.

The Role

As a Machine Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating machinery used to cut metal and produce billets to customer specifications. This is a physically demanding role involving manual handling, heavy lifting and working as part of a busy production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate metal cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Cut metal billets to customer specifications.
• Carry out manual handling and heavy lifting of metal billets and boxes.
• Load and unload materials.
• Complete quality checks on finished products.
• Keep the work area clean, organised and safe.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is desirable.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Comfortable carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent employment.

Shifts & Pay

• Rotating shifts:
  • 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• £13.50 per hour
• Temporary to Permanent opportunity
