CNC Turner – Operator (Fanuc)

Salary: £15.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45 – 16:30 (early finish Friday 15:30)
Overtime: Available

About the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner with Fanuc controls experience to join a well-established engineering company.

Key Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
• Manufacture components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
• Carry out online programming at the machine
• Ensure parts are produced right first time, minimising scrap and rework
• Perform in-process inspection using appropriate measuring equipment
• Complete machine setups efficiently to meet production targets
• Maintain machine performance and carry out basic maintenance checks
• Work to production schedules and delivery deadlines

Machines on Site

Experience with the following would be beneficial:

• Doosan Puma 2600SY II (Fanuc 0iTF Plus, live tooling, sub spindle, bar feeder)
• Leadwell LTC-25i LVM (Fanuc, C axis live tooling)
• Leadwell LTC-35C (2-axis, Fanuc)

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Turner
• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Ability to programme, set and operate CNC lathes
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Experience using measuring equipment and inspection tools
• Reliable, detail-focused and able to work to production deadlines
