Machine Operator/Forklift Driver

We are delighted to be recruiting for a company in Milton Keynes who are looking for a Production/Machine Operator.

Inhouse FLT licences accepted. You must have a solid work history.

Production Operative

1: MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

· To set and operate the company production machines.

· Reports to the General Manager first / production administrator second

Main duties within job)

· To operate all company production machines.

· Ensure Quality Assurance checks/records are accurately entered.

· Report faults to Maintenance/GM in a timely manner.

· Ensure data is accurately entered onto system.

· Pack goods to customers’ specification/order

· Load lorries with correct goods and appropriate paperwork

· Unload lorries as required

· Manufacture wooden pallets and cases as required

· Carry out housekeeping duties as necessary

· Ensure that Health and Safety duties as stated in the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and memorandums are being adhered to.

· Complete other duties as requested.

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

· Forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance – in house licences accepted)

· Strong numeracy and literacy skills

· Computer skills

· Able to work on own initiative

· Able to communicate effectively at all levels

(What experience and background would you expect the successful candidate to have)

· Experience of operating machinery within a factory environment

Pay: £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday
